Question for da prozzz

Kind of a weird question that Im sure will be answered by a bunch of idiots quessing but here it is

Im going to run some accufab 1 7/8s with a full 3" out the back, gona pull the muffs and run just open mid pipe at track, will have a set of QUIET spintechs for the street (cars too dam loud now with the baby exhaust)

Now the question, Im going to run an exhaust evac kit, but, is running it going to clog the mufflers with a bunch of shit driving on the street? Or is the oil vapor not enough to really do shit

No clue.. but I can say you might want to look into running whatever specific spintech you go with and how well it will work with an evac kit. From what I've seen, you can only do evac and full exhaust if you have really good flowing mufflers.

resinators + a strait through big muffler like magnaflows would be about as quiet I think you could get without sacraficing powa.

or get some cut outs installed just after the headers on the mid pipe. LS1's see like 15-20hp gain from cut outs even when they are mostly stock

That's prolly cuz they are a y system back to dual tailpipes at the muffler.

I don't plan on running any mufflers at the track. This is just for dd use so don't care bout how much power the mufflers rob, just if they're gona fill up with oil vapor and be ruined

not a pro,but i've got a 93 ramcharger w/360 magnun and single 3''exaust with a ''wide open'' magnaflow. it's surprisingly quiet at idle, and i cant see it clogging up. hell a tennis ball could pass through it!

I've used those cut-outs before. They both failed after about a year. For the price, I'll never get them again.

I agree. theres just to much back pressure for you to run the system :/ would probably be a hassle and waste of money in the end.

Have you checked into it working with the quieter mufflers? I honestly have no idea how much they cut flow compared to something like a race bullet. Worst case you can always do the bolt in cut-outs. They're cheap and easy as hell to pull off at the track... Just use gloves when doing so. A tip from an idiot who didn't think about it and didn't bring any the first time I drove to the track with them.
