I would use the piston stop to check the timing marks. Once you're certain of timing, verify your fp, and if you still can't get it to move my next guess would be the C&L.
is the c&l a bad choice? i've been told otherwise...any suggestions on a calibrated maf?

First of all here is my setup:
ford racing 351 crate, afr 185s, e cam, 1.6 svo rockers, holley system max manifold, summit 42lb inj.,walbro 255lph f/p, BBk adj fpr, 75mm t/b, no egr, 76mm c&l maf housing for 42lb inj. w/ stock sensor, msd blaster coil, msd cap and rotor stock dizzy, new icm, frpp 9mm wires, procharger p600 10lb pulley oil fed with god speed 30x12x3 i/c, msd 6al, aem wide band uego, tko 600, zoom stage 3, pro 5.0, detroit locker w/4.10s, moser 31s.

my problem is i've been building this thing up for a while...long story short..i got the setup rolling now i have not gotten it tuned yet but it falls on its face immediately under power train load...i put new gas in after a year of sitting with lucas fuel stabilzer, set the timing as close as 10BTDC w/spout out, a/f ratio at cold idle is about 12.2-13.3,pulling 8-10" vacuum, fuel press is around 30psi at idle ...i'm scratching my head trying to figure this out...im not sure if my balancer ring has moved my crank pulley doesn't seem to wobble...anyone have any advice??? i need to at least get it rolling to take it to get tuned ya know?
You might need to trailer the car somewhere to have it tuned. Its going to be hard for anyone to diagnose this over the internet because it could be many things.

C&L is junk and it would not suprise me if that MAF was causing your problems. I've seen C&L meters cause problems like this many times over the years.
