Control Arm Bushings

I want to replace my control arm bushings can someone point me in the right direction on where i can find them, i looked on autozone's website and they have more than one and i confused, it says they have an upper and a lower, but i thought there was only 2 control arms, 2 that hook to the differential, one on each side and it bolts to the frame underneath the car. i do believe i need 4

thanks
guys

you have 4 controlling arms. 2 upper and 2 lower, the ones your talking about are the lowers.

oh ok cool, what are the ones that run alongside the car..are those the long ones in the picture? and how many bushings do i need for the upper, it looks like there is only 2 total in the picture but i thought there was 4, it looks like there is 4 on my car, one on each end

and also under autozone's website they have them listed as Control Arm Bushing-Front
and Control Arm Bushing-Rear... which is which?

if you get under your car you will see that all 4 control arms run from the body to the rear end. the small ones are on top of the rear end and can only be seen if you crawl under the car. As for the bushings i dont know

dude, get the rear to hang pretty low and run a drill tinto the rubber in a bunch of spots and the urbber will just push out after that. you can peel the rest of it away with a screw driver. after that, you just hamer in urathane replacement ones. you hammer them into the old shell of the factory ones. it isn't that hard to do.

when lowering your rear, disconnect the rear brake line because it will not be long enough for you to drop the rear very far. I replaced the bushings in the rear when the rear was out of the car but I imagine it can be done with it installed. (or mostly installed for that matter) You will have to unbolt the upper arms from the rear so i think you will have plenty of room to drop that thing far enough to do the work.

as far as the rear control arms are concerned, they are crap. save for a new decent set. if you replace the factory bushings in your factory arms, you will have crappy arms with nice bushings. I almost went that route because I was wanting to save some coin.... it would have been such a waste of time.

Why not just replace the control arms? The factory control arms are junk anyway. That should be one of the first modifications done to a fox body Mustang, control arm replacement.

replace the lowers first.....when you replace them pull them out one at a time. if you pull them all out at one time your going to have a hell of a time putting it all back together

You can buy uppers and lowers seperately if that's what you are asking.
