Pretty much any solid heads/cam/intake 5 liter falls into this category. The important part is making sure the rest of the car is set up correctly.

I don't really feel like running nitrous mainly because there is no real tuner where I live and I'll end up doing the tuning with a quarterhorse.

Unsure if tuning nitrous with a quarterhorse is gonna be too hard. And I don't really wanna fill up the bottle over and over so thats why I rather do it with a blower, but preferably n/a.

1991 GT, full weight, A/C, P/S and all other factory accessories.

302, Twisted Wedge heads, Trick Flow 51402001 cam (if I remember correctly), Trick Flow R-series intake, 75mm throttle body, Pro-M 77mm maf and all the common bolt ons. Thru a 5 speed and 3.55 gears it went 11.59 @ 114mph on a 26x8.5 slick.

Oh yeah will I need to run these pistons if I get trick flow heads on a 302?

Trick Flow Specialties TFS-51404000 - Trick Flow® Forged Pistons - Overview - SummitRacing.com

Can I still use stock rods and crank?

The entire bottom end of the 5.0 is reliable. I heard they dont break down till after 9k rpms. and like 800 hp. The pistons are forged, not sure about the rods and crank.

Would I need to upgrade my fuel lines rails if I were to put on a vortech v3 supercharger pullied to 10lbs of boost on stock motor?

I heard you only need to get a bigger diameter supply line, aftermarket fuel rails, and a 255 fuel pump? Is this true?

The stock pistons are fine, but always double check your ptv to make sure.

Not so much. Anywhere from 500-650 hp depending on the quality of your rotating assembly, and how well your assembly is balanced. And I would love to see you rev a stocker to 9k. I can see the carnage now.... lol. Prolly better be out of the gas by 7k on a stock motor. My 2 cents.

My buddy is still on stock rails and lines with his supercharged 342. He's got a 255 in tank and a t-rex boost a pump. It's not ideal, and needs to be upgraded, but he put down 475rwhp through a 4k stall. Tuner said to upgrade fuel system also.

If you plan on rebuilding your engine then yes. Otherwise it all depends on the cam. Some cams work with stock pistons and some don't.

Does anyone if those pistons are balanced? I couldn't tell by looking on summit.

Can I use my stock rods and crank with those pistons? Do I need to get them re-balanced?

You balance the rotating assembly together, not piece by piece.

It was a joke after the whole clubhouse thread. I left it up because its getting a shit load of hits and there has been like $15 donated. Lol! Everyone feels sorry for a picture of a guy that needs beer, pot and a hooker.
