Efi turbo vs. Blow thru turbo

Trying to decide which to go with, a blow thru turbo set up or efi turbo set up.
Motor has f303 cam 1.6 RR ported e7s and ported stock intake . How hard would it be to tune efi turbo? I'm thinking of just switching to carb because of tunability.

What do you guys think I should do?
I'm really leaning twords blow thru but wanted to see what you guys have to say...

Sounds like you don't have the money for the efi tune. Go carb.

Tuning a blow-through carb correctly is harder than tuning it EFI. It definitely isnt for the faint of heart. No off the shelf carb is going to work. You will be adding vents and it will probably take you months of tuning to get your cruise stoich. And when you do get your cruise good, youll be pig rich at WOT- and the cycle continues. A quality blow-through ready carb (CSU) will cost you more than tuning it EFI also.

In my opinion, blowthrough works best on the strip where you only care about idle and WOT.

Efi is better, so if he is even presenty the idea of going carb theres a good chance he can not afford it.

And there it is. Theres nothing wrong with that, but if you are going to have to go carb, do it right.

What EFI system do you currently have? Is it the '86+ HO setup? You'll want to swap to an A9L '89+ MAF setup to tune it.

A complete Mega Squirt system will cost less than a blow thru carb, plus you will have way better fuel control under boost, plus drivabuility!

Do some reading on the turbo forums and go EFI. Blow thru's are a pain. We set one up with a procharger. wasn't fun.
