Building my first Mustang 5.0


Hi guys im new to the site i have a 93 lx 5.0 im looking to build a fast DD street car really not gonna see the track , i was hoping for some help with good parts combos with h/c/i i have all the normal bolt on already.. question though my stang has about 180,000 miles on it can the motor handle h/c/i @ that milage it doesnt leak oil runs really well i appreciate all help thanks guys

If the engine has good compression, I'd leave the short block alone. Check out the Trick Flow top end kit with the track heat intake. You can't go wrong with that combo! You just need some injectors, TB & Spacer, MAF, and a bigger fuel pump, and your set!

If you are just looking to spice it up then a Trick Flow top end kit will do the trick like horsepowerjunkie said.

thanks guys , what is the right amount of compression in the cylinders thats still on the good side and what is a still healthy spec??
