What kind of power would i get out of this set up?
I recently got a bunch of stuff in some trades and i was wondering what kind of HP and ETs i could get with all of it.
89 Mustang gt: GT40 heads headman long tube headers off road H-pipe 65mm throttle body 80mm MAF with 24# injectors rear seat delete underdrive pullies drag springs with the air bag in one of them im not expectin any major power gains out of it just would like to know what it would make. i know i could use a new intake and cam. i plan on getting a holley systemax or similar intake and a nice cam soon. So what kinda HP numbers and ETs would come out of all of these parts? Anyone have any suggestion on something i can get to complement these parts for better numbers? |

also forgot subframe connectors and a redneck ram air setup (replaced stock air filter with one from a ram air setup and left stock tubing and everything).

Honestly I think the heads would be restricted by intake. I would not upgrade one without the other. Add at least a GT40 intake. With a AOD car your 1st upgrade should be gears! you put some 4.10s in a stock 5.0 HO and you will think its the best money you ever spent.

Some people I have talked to local said they improved gas mileage with a AOD and 4.10s. I am planning on doing this with mine this spring. Ever notice in your AOD at 85 your only tacking like 2500 rpms lol. the 4.10s let you wind out your gears a little more esp the OD.

uhhh No. Your smoking crack look the 410s are a good gear set for the aod... It does not improve gas milage I went from 18 to about 16 around town.... Lost about 2 mpg thats driving normal, if your not gonna do alot of freeway driving get the 410s man you will love them if you drive the freeway alot get 355s....

list of parts to order now: 4.10s Nitto drag radials a good intake and a better CAI |
