Battery/Electrical problems with 5.0
Hey guys havent been on here in a while but i finally upgraded from a v6 to a 5.0 v8. but now im having problems starting my car up. I bought a new battery so i know thats bnot the problem. altenator could be bad but it looks fairly new. And for some reason when i shut the car off the amp light stayed on for some strang reason. If you guys know where i should start i would greatly appreciate it

Sounds like a short. I would start by checking voltage at the solenoid with the ignition off.
