351 heads
How much do they flow? A buddy of mine has stock 351 heads on his 302 with a custom cam and an edelbrock air gap with some BS carb. I'm almost positive I'm going to beat him, I'm just unsure of the heads. Thanks.

They aren't anything special. The GT-40 heads are better.

So I shouldn't worry...Cool. He wants to race me heads up, him on motor to me on motor. He has drag radials, and I have street tires. Should be interesting..

All I can add is I have ported 351s on my car with a mild cam and it pulls a lot harder then my stock HO 302 did. I have nothing special in my car.
Rebuilt motor with ported 351 heads and a mild loping cam. BBK shorties catted stock Hpipe Regular pullies but removed the smog removed and blocked the egr. 255 50 16s AOD and 2.73s Not the fastest car I have ever driven but compared to the stock 89 302 HO I took out it feels to pull about 30% harder. My 302 would barely spin the wheels but this build lights them up. |
