gear install

I'm about to order some 3.73's. Will just one bottle of the gear oil be good with the installation kit or should I get 2?

yeah I was looking at AM for the gears, kit, etc, because they are having that presidents sale, but on latemodelresto they sell all that stuff together, so I'm thinking I might pay the extra 15-20 bucks for the one that comes with everything.

The kit is worth it. Some of the newer gear oil has friction modifier since the LSD is becoming more common in cars these days. The marking compound is a must, unless you want to go to autozone and rent the gear mesh kit. Then of course you need the shims, new crush sleeve, and pinion bearing. Might as well rebuild your LSD while your in there as well.
