checked out the 77 mustang today and wanna ask some questions

alright so i checked out the mustang.

good things: engine runs very well, no problems that i saw

bad things: carpet is shit in it, hand cranks for windows are off, guy said the tranny was leaking and hes taking it into the shop, and the wheels are ugly and there is no way ill be able to get new rims cause they are 4 lug.

so does it even sound like id want to spend money on it?

Why ? those years are the most god offal looking things ever !!!!!

There good for only two things.....Demolition derby, and keeping scrap yards in buisness.

But to each there own. Even the volkswagon gremlin has its following

Foxes are 4 lug so if the bolt pattern and offset is the same, you'll have plenty of wheel choices. Everyone thinks they're ugly, including me, but to each their own. The problem with that is the resale isn't that great unless it's bone stock and in good shape and you plan to keep it this way.

You can make almost any car look half way decent if you through enough money at it. You just need to figure out if its worth in or not. But dont plan on recouping most of your money should you ever decide to resell it
