Whats this Black Box?
Ok, So I did all the grounds and all is good to go... 4 gauge cable from Block to Chassis and 4 gauge cable from Block to Battery Neg. Now to turn it on,
I put the key to the run position and I get my tach going crazy and it is bouncing between 4-5 rpm mark. And I have a high pitched buzzing sound, kinda sounds like a broken horn.. and the Fuel pump wont prime. I located the sound, it is coming from this Black Box that is mounted right behind the Coolant over flow tank. It has a wiring harness connected to it and inside the box looks like a computer chip or what not. What is this box and could this box taking a shit cause my issue... I decided to turn it over for shits and giggles and it turns over fucking amazing.. fast as shit, hasn't turned over this well ever... I just need to know what this black box is and maybe replace it.

Sounds like a external ignition, or a car alarm.

Sounds like the ignition control module. I forget where they are on a SN, but they're under the hood. pics would definitely help.

yup. they go bad. I have seen people bypass the one in the ccrm and add it elswhere in the system. remember that you need to keep it sealed if you heep it out there because you don't want it getting wet.

Well its a F48F-12B577-AA type R, But autozone or advanced doesnt call it a CCRM, But thats what it is for sure... The only things I can find that look like it are what I put in the links.... Maybe I will just take it into the store tomorrow and see if they can order me one..

I swear, If I get this new CCRM and it doesn't fix this issue Im going to cut every wire out of the car and re-wire it all and go Carbed.. lol I dont think my new grounds would have done this failure, I have grounded the battery to the block and then the block is grounded to the frame and I also have a wire going from the neg terminal to the chassis.. I wanted to make sure it was grounded out good lol.

my car blows fuel pump relays. Dunno why. Got the power wire that goes to the relay jumped to the fuel pump. Only thing the dam relay does is makes the fuel pump prime. So when my keys to on my fuel pumps always on lozlzllzlzl

Sounds like a voltage/ground issue to me..... CCRMs make noise when under powered.
