i believe 275-35-17 should work Im not sure please recheck those numbers. also many people are baised when it comes to tire because of soooo many brands but i personally just bought some nitto 555 all season tires and they work great. (not so great for racing tho)

9 inch rim can fit anything from a 235 to 315.. so it's up to preference and need. Now 315's are going to be a bitch to fit under a fox rear end especially if the cars' been lowered but it can be done. Even 275's require the quad shocks to be removed and some fender well to be banged in to fit correctly.

In the front i wouldn't go any wider then 255 but that's just me.. a arm clearance, wheel well rubbing and wider the front tire the more the car will grab ruts and steer itself.

sidewall aspect ratio.

The side wall height is 35% of the tire width.

lowest i'd go with 17's would be 40... the lower you go on the side wall the shittier the ride gets and less traction you can obtain in the rear from my experience. Most people go 35 with 18's so the overall wheel diameter is still the same or very close.
