Shaking Problems


My mustang shakes about about 110 - 120 mphs...and when i brake..the whole car shakes.......could it be my brake rotors or my control arm......Any Suggest on what it is because i need to fix it soon for the nitrious...

look more into your suspension for those issues...warped brake rotors usually just cause violent left to right jerks when the brakes are applied...look for bad tie rods or worn bushings

Do you get a pulsation in the brake pedal when you apply the brakes? Sounds like you have some warped front brake rotors. The other vibration your are experiencing at high speed is possibly wheels out of balance. Go have all of your tires balanced.

good thought about the wheels there....look at your driveshaft too. Mine had a real bad vibration that got worse as i went faster and found the u-joints about 90% siezed and actually in the long run had also caused tailshaft housing damage in my trans...
