Horrible cricket noise from rear of car

I have a strange noise that myself and other techs cannot figure out. About 5 minutes of driving my car (at random) a high pitched squealing noise will chime in from the rear of my 93 fox. Once the noise starts it is a constant cricket noise until i let off the gas - then it goes away. Once I touch the gas the noise comes back, and so on... It comes from the rear wheels if the windows are down and the middle of the back seat when the windows are up.
I have replaced rear shoes and u joints. Also changed diff fluid with royal purp - noise remains the same. Some insight would be a lot of help.

I have noticed the same thing with my 89 LX. I haven't crawled around to check it out yet, figured it was something rubbing in the back. Will be interesting to see if anyone has any advice.

maybe i could be a slightly warped rotor?
