$200 to spend tri axe?

well i sold my bad ass 93 ram charger. i was asking $2800 and would have took $2500. sold in two days and didn't even get talked down. we sold it because its been a pretty tuff winter for a roofing contractor, and we need to catch up some bills. also, since i got my fox i spend all my time and money on it the wife let me keep $200 for the fox .i think i should get $300, but i'll get the other hundred later . a local guy i know has a steeda tri-ax new in the box for $175. thinking of picking it up today. any opinions on this shifter. i know people really like the pro-5.0, but i can pick this up today if he still has it no shiping, tax, or waiting. also i have some extra parts he may take for partial trades. the guy buys, sells, and trades in fox parts. any body have this shifter? like it? hate it? just order a pro 5.0? and here is a pic of the RC it will be missed. i built everything on that truck myself

I have the Tri-ax.. Love it.

P.S. Bet you wish you asked 3k for the Ramcharger. Sucks when someone doesn't even try to talk you down. Makes you think it went too cheap.

i asked for a fair price, and the fact he didnt even try to talk me down showed that. i couldnt hardly put A price on the fab work i did to that truck. i had countless hours in the bumper, rock sliders, safari rack exetra. i'm at peace with what i got for it. the couple that bought it are going to use it for a camping/trail truck and pull their pop-up with it. it was a fun truck to build. it had the 5.9 mpfi magnum in it and 120k miles. really hualled ass for a 6000# rig on 35's.

Hydraulic prolly means hydraulic roller or hydraulic flat tappet. I myself just get the springs for that cam. That's why we always say get the springs FOR the cam. You would have to get a cam with those open closed seat pressures, thus limiting your choices. Craigs or Ebay them.

hey fastang i guess that means your as lost as i am on the spring specs? yeah i think i jumped the gun on those, but i didnt give much for them. oh well. this guy is a great conection for parts, and i'm not going to bugg him about the springs not being right for me i basicly traded my old seats for them anyway. i've been building a repete customer relationship with this guy. he runs a shop parting out trading and selling foxes. i got a deal in the mix with him on the PERFECT vert door paneles w/armrests on his vert. he's going black interior, and has been saving all the best black vert pieces for his car and just got the last thing he needed.

I would guess that with a quick call to a machine shop would get you the info that you need on pressures with the stock cam. When you buy a cam, it's either on the card, or you just have to ask them if it's not.
