Stock block stroked out to 347 with rotating assembly - 1500?

2. I'd rather have a N/A motor running 11s and 10s because it is much harder and I think more respectable, but it will be more expensive

3. I have read that a single turbo is better for high rpms and overall big power. Twins are good for low end power, but can be made to do well up top.

4. Go for a c4. I forget what company it was, but they offer a c4 that holds up to 1000hp

You also will need a fuel system upgrade (maybe around 1000 cheaply done), a suspension upgrade (maybe 1000-2000), a brake upgrade (5 lug conversion plus new rims and tires maybe 1500

Dude I was planning on building a 408, found out it was gonna cost me over 12 grand for all new parts (I also have to pay shipping to Hawaii which is ridiculous).

Instead I'm deciding of going with a 302 h/c/i and blower, a 347, or a 302 turbo. My goal is also 11s, and 10s later down the road.

I'm not 100 percent sure on this info, but someone else will chime in who knows more than me. lol
Why a Dart block? This can be done with a factory 351W block.

You don't need 500-600 rwhp to run high 10s in a foxbody, but if that's the power level you want, your best, cheapest bet, is to use a stock 351W block and stroke it. With a set of TW 225s, Vic Jr, or Super Vic intake, with a custom cam, you can EASILY make that power N/A. VERY EASILY.

I actually have a buddy that put a 357 in a foxbody coupe, and ran 11.20s. It had Canfield heads, Vic Jr, and a very conservative cam. So, if you're on a budget, stroking isn't exactly a necessity.

Why do you need 600 HP for the street for? 350-400 is more than enough to spank imports all day. You can do that by buying a clearanced 347 block from summit for $700. Add a $1800 rotating assembly. Good h/c/i. Don't forget about suspension and chassis to get that power to the ground. No matter which route you choose though, its going to cost big$.

Because it's fun . And who cares about beating up on imports? That's like beating up on the mentally retarded kid.

That's true lol. To each his own though. It is pointless though. If its a street/strip car, that's one thing but he wants a daily driver. I once knew a guy who had a blown stroked fox and he said its really hard to drive on the street plus it screams for cops attention. If it was me id just build two cars altogether, one for the street and one for the strip. It's an opinion thing.

Sorry dude I was just getting too caught up with my dream car. All top of the line stuff. lol

And I thought he mentioned he wanted the best. Like a stage 3 turbo kit, so yeah

But yeah 351 from a ford van or truck are good enough.

I'm much more worried about you wanting a 600hp car and being another dipshit on the road not paying attention. going from a stock truck to a 400hp Stang would be a steep enough learning curve, let alone a 600hp monster with another asshole texting and driving while eating breakfast and drinking a coffee. My cousin was killed by a asshole texting and driving. I'm glad you are comfortable endangering others because it makes life easier on you.
