Heres some pics
heres the swap. Since this pic, I ditched the hall-effect distributor and installed a Proffesional Products billet unit. Probably a few other things as well.

So heres for my first question. Zoom in on the alternator bracket in the picture below. Its from March Performance, and its for an 84' 5.0. My guess is that this is the wrong timing cover/water pump and thats why it doesnt line up, but perhaps I am wrong. Hopefully you guys can steer me in the right direction. If it helps, the Bolt kit I ordered from ARP was the wrong lengths as well, and I ordered those for an 84' 5.0 as well. Thanks for the help.

thanks for any input.

The ARP timing cover bolt kit is wrong, they do not fit at all!! I have called them on it and they sounded surprised! I know alot of guys who have had the same issue.

Did the alt bracket come with instructions? Should show you exactly where to bolt it to..

The bracket is in the correct spot per the instructions, I called march and verified that it is the correct bracket as well.
