Elect.cooling fan vs. SSP cooling fan
Replaced my Flex a lite black magic extreme 185 with my SSP fan clutch ass. It cools much better or at least consistently. But I can really feel the drag on the motor. Last time at the dyno I had added a light weight drive shaft, 17 lbs. fly wheel and the elect. fan. Only gained 8.5 rwhp and 13 ft.lbs. of torque. Doesn't sound like much until you give it back. I have gone back to stock fly wheel. I'm thinking about trying my elect. fan with an better controller.I miss the low end torque.

I knew somebody was going to say something like that. I don't know about a well calibrated ass. But I can tell a diff. in acceleration and traction, or lack of. I guess when you don't have much to start with, every little bit counts.
