Why so quick for an answer? Does the money disappear if not used in 24 hours? LOL. Do a bunch of research on Discount Tire Direct. Lots of reviews to read there.

This forum hijacks certain URL's that users post and directs them to the parent company of this forum which is autoguide.com. Looks like you tried to post a link to Tirerack but when clicked on, it takes you to autoguide.com and the redirect did not work, maybe it's just my browser (Firefox on Ubuntu with ABP and No-Script plug-ins) or Tirerack must not have paid any placement money here

Continental DWS I got a set of 4 with insurance for 505$. Granted, my Dad works at a tire shop so he got a little bit of a deal, but they're definitely good tires.

I don't know if you've ever drove a car with good Continentals, but they're good tires. You can't just get any one though. The DWS is good for an all season tire, and the contsportcontact 3 is an AWESOME summer tire.

If your dad works at a tire shop, why did you get insurance? Can't he fix leaks?

I have General Exclaim UHP on the 02 GT. Great tire for the price, I think the 245/17's were only $85 at Tirerack at the time.

Totally agree. The tires I run are 68 bucks apiece. No regrets if I decide to do a burnout or 10.
