Question

intake manifold HELP!?

I'm about to purchase a new intake manifold. What is the best!? Money is no problem and I'm eventually gonna add nitrous. I was looking at the edelbrock rpm series, the bbk ssi (which comes with free high flow fuel rails), and idk anything about trick flow and professional products. Help ordering soon! Also buying a underdrive pully kit, BBK CAI, SCT chip, and 70mm throttle body.

Add nitrous and keep it N.A...no super or turbo chargers.

Gonna get a Ford racing BOSS 347 or 351 eventually but all my parts should transfer.

There is no best for every engine. There's a best choice or choices for your specific car. What's been done to the car so far?

If you get an intake for your 302 now, the lower will not work if you decide to go with a 351 based engine later on.

... and don't touch the SSI. garbage intake for any combo.

Your distributer will not transfer and neither will your headers if you do a 351 swap. And you will need a swap oil pan as well. If you go with a boss block and do a 347, make sure it's a 4.125" bore 3.25" stroke 347 and not a 4.030" bore 3.4" stroke. The cylinder walls on those blocks are .350" shorter than stock and will leave less skirt in the bore making them more prone to piston rock if you use a 3.4" stroke.
