95 converted to carb need help with irratic RPM while drivin

About 10 - 15 minutes after the car gets hot my RPM will Jump up about 3000 and then drop down to the point of almost stalling even when its in gear and i'm driving. Can anybody help me?

could be a lot of things. sounds like too much fuel and not enough fuel. do you have a fuel pressure gauge? if not get one. why did you go to carb?

bought car this way and i do have a fuel pressure gauge its at 6 psi i checked out the gauge wil that was happening and it always stayed the same

did it do this when you bought it or did this start happening after you had it a while? i'm not real familiar with carb. but had them a long time ago and they were a real pita to get right. try adjusting the carb when its running and see if you can get it to do something different. doesnt sound like idle screw because it does it when driving. try the mixture or mabey try cleaning the bowls. take carb apart and soak in cleaner.

hey you need to get your fuel pressure up to 8lbs & if that dont help it there is a old school trick that might help. with the breather of & car running pull up your rpms some were close to 3500 and take your hand &
cover as much of the top of the carb as you can do this a few times what it does is pull trash thru it if there is any . it might help
