Mustang Fuel Filler Neck Grommet Question
So I seen that I was leaking some gas... so I went there and dropped the tank n found out it was all dry rotted and the other piece wasn't there.. so does anyone know where I could get one on a Sunday? im in milwaukee wi

Dealer only item, or places like latemodel restoration. Been down that road. Sorry buddy.

Are you both talking about the black plastic piece that i see around the filler neck when i open up the fuel door ? if so how does that cause a fuel leak ? sorry for the dumb question, i have yet to have this problem, although ive seen this question asked before

No, the fill tube (the one that you put gas into) goes into the tank through a big rubber grommet.

Awww shit....right after i got complemented on asking smart questions i go and do this lol....I had no idea, for some reason i thought the tank and the filler neck was one piece...ha ha thanks for the info
