How much powerdo you make now. Not to mention a 75 shot on a blower car is a large difference from an n/a car. I'd personally stay away from the h/c. Every 5.0 is diff. Some with heads cam idle like stock and drive great others don't. Either get meth, spray, or a pulley; or you can do all three. The spray and meth idea would be perfect for you. Some gear to if you don't have it already.

I don't know what a new plate costs so I wouldn't know if it would be worthwhile or not but it is an option down the road.

That's why a good tuner is a must and matching a good cam to his needs.

I would definately look at a head and cam to help you out. Sharkbait had a stock motor except for an svo blower and made like 289rwhp with it at 9lbs of boost. I have a .020+ bore forged shortblock with better heads and cams and am using THE very blower he had ( I bought it when he broke a rod and decided to go 5.4 ) and I made 375 rwhp on 6lbs of boost. Who knows what I'll make once the motor is well broken in and I swap on the 9lb pulley. My point is that the heads and cam is going to net you alot more power and it will be there all the time, not just when you hit the switch.

this assumes the intake can flow enough air to make that power.............in stock form it will have a hard time.
