Auto Specialties Air Conditioning Eliminator


has anyone instaled one of these? i bought one but my car was equiped with a dealer install A/C and i think the brackets are a little different? unless i am just dumb or blind, the damn instructions arent much help either.

dealer installed uses a different mounting bracket your power steering pump is where the air is supossed to be


this is the one I made for mine its probully similar to your kit but this only cost about $10 to make but this is where it goes for factory installed

Great pic!! thanks! one more question. i noticed on the belt routing sticker they show how to rout the belt without A/C will this hurt anything if i just get a belt that fits and bypasses where the A/C pully should be?

shouldn't hurt anything, a lot of people do the belt swap to eliminate the a/c prior to hittin the track by using a shorter belt, and afterwards swap the old belt for daily driving

yeah i found a kit in a mag. that sells the brackets to move the P/S pump up where my A/C unit was they the pully should mount right up, and it was only $35 so i don't see where i can go wrong
