Sway bar rubbing Cross Brace

Just bought an 88 Mustang Convertible and found the swaybar is rubbing the top of the factory installed cross brace. The only changes I see to the front end are new front struts everything else looks original. The bushings look good on the swaybar what else could be causing the swaybar to rub the cross brace.

Is the car lowered? The sway bar end links might not be the right length, causing the sway bar to hit the cross brace.

The car is factory height almost everything on this car is original. Did some more investigation looks like the springs are not seated properly. Will compress the springs and get them in the right place, and see if it is still hitting.
