2.4L turbo to 5.0 240sx...got a few questions??

where do you live ? in a few weeks ill have my old engine for sale 140,000 miles, runs great, its alittle dirty and will come with every thing but intake and front accessorys. but will come with clutch and motor mounts

Ah, well in that case, then you'll need a cam and if the intake faces the drivers side, I believe you'll need a new intake also. You may be able to flip the upper but I'm not sure on that so maybe someone else can verify.

I'm just going to get the lincoln towncar motor. Seems like a deal to me $350 for everything but the tranny with only 110k on odo.

The search is still on. I found an 86 gt with a t5 for a grand. I'm checking it out this weekend. Then my buddy has a 351w 30 over and cammed in a mustang running for a g as well.

I can now see where the OP got his idea. I went to a junkyard over the weekend, and this place had 3 240sx's, and was just absolutely littered with 4.6's, and quite a few 5.0's. It is a pretty tempting idea.

I'm still waiting on my damn car. Here I am a month later and I asked my buddy where the title was and he said he hasn't even sent the paperwork off yet. So I'm still waiting. As soon as I can drive my other car I'll get started on this thing.
