confused on pistons and rods
i got my block back from being bored and im looking for new pistons but the ones i find are floating wrist pins. I'm getting the trickflow engine kit and im reusing the crank and the rods. my stock old pistons are still on the rod and i sure the wrist pin is .912 but not completely sure. Can i use my old rod with the new floating piston?

You are going to want Probe 14844. They have vavle releifs for the Twisted Wedge head. And yes, they can be used with your stock rods.

That's the same piston but I'm going to get it off of summit.. I know I need a piston for the head clearance but can I use a floating piston on my old press fit rod. They have both the same size wrist pins

Those are different. The one you posted looks like it's for an inline valve head. The one horsepowerjunkie posted is for a Twisted Wedge head. If you use pistons with inline valve reliefs you may end up with PTV issues depending on what cam you use.

I couldn't answer that and be certain. I was under the impression that you couldn't do it that way because of lack of pin oiling, but I could be wrong.

floating pistons will work on a press on rod. They press into the rod, not the piston. Just press them on and leave out the spirolocks!
This is the piston you would need with Twisted Wedge heads from Summit. http://www.summitracing.com/parts/PBP-14844-030/
