hey guys i've had my 88 5.0 GT for a couple of months, it looked sweet and really got up and ran. But unfortunantly the "street slicks" didn't hold up well in the puddles, i hydro planed on the highway at 70 on a large gathering of water and crashed up my front end, the front radiators were smooshed along w/the supports, and the subframe bent before the shock towers. it will have to go to the frame shop to see if its still square. I was wondering if enyone has replaced the front clip. It looks like a cut and weld job, if anyone knows please help me out

my car was wrecked in the front when I bought it...the frame guy tweaked it back and I threw on some fenders a hood, bumpercover the supports underneath rad and cond. and headlights and put it on the road... the innner metal that the fender bolts to isnt perfect but it works

You won't know where the damage is until you get it to the frame shop. I had a car that had a hard front end impact that was heavily damaged in the rear and it wasn't even hit there! From the front it looked like all damage was in front of the shock towers. Both frame rails were pushed to the driver side. However after the frame guy pointed things out I could see the rest of the damage. The car is a unibody. A frontal impact can make the trunk misalinged. Be safe and take it to a frame shop.
