87 gt convert please help

ok im a new member i have a 87 vert with stock bottom end, lightly ported e7s, complete msd ingnition the 6a box, dizzy, and blaster 2 coil, underdrive pulleys, bbk shortys, 2.5'' off road h pipe. 5 speed my question is this the ass i bought it from put bolts in the o2 sensor holes and cut them off. the car runs but not the greatest. i have a couple of question one do the o2 sensors have to go in those holes or can i redrill them farther down the pipe, also do i have to put 2 sensors in or will just one give the cpu the reading. also i bought a new dip stick but i cant get it past the headers please help me please thanks

I dont think it would make that big of a difference if you mounted the o2 senors a little farther down the pipe someone correct me if im worng but you will have to have both of them for the cpu to read the senors right

welcome to MM

you need to install both sensors.you could also mount them a little further
downstream also keep them somewhat near the same clocking as the stock

I don't know exactly what you mean by having trouble with the dip stick not fitting but you can bend the shaft a little to make it fit if thats what you need to do. The muffler being on backwards??????? are you sure it's on backwards

dont hold me to this but i think having the muffler backwards can make it run a little weird, but not too much. i dont know what that will do to your back pressure but you might want to fix that.
