How fast 5.0 stock fox body LX
Does anyone know how fast a stock fox body LX 5.0 5 speed runs in a 1/4 mile. Were talking street tires also.

With the stick, you could probably see high 14s. That is if you dont lauch too hard with those street tires and dont spin your a$$ off...My AOD went 15.2 all stock on street tires launching at idle.

My buddys ran a 14.8 stock with a 5 speed at commerce dragway in Atlanta. Forget the mph though. It was a 93 LX too.

My best run STOCK went like this: This was one of my slowest reaction times though.But that doesnt affect your E/T.
R/T: .371 60': 2.328 330: 6.549 1/8: 9.942 MPH: 73.20 1000: 12.834 1/4: 15.267 MPH: 92.70

Iv got a 91 LX5.0 hatch 5speed (and bone stock) that does 14.95@95 consistantly so long as I dont spin the tires on the launch.

I've gone 13.90s with a stock 88 GT with the only modification being a Hurst shifter. Several guys in the area have gone high 13s to low 14s with stock Mustangs.

Yeah, and I think after you do a few runs and get your launch and shifting figured out that will make a big difference, too. You might go to the track the first time and think I got a piece of crap because it only runs 15.5 or slower, but that could get better with practice. Or, maybe you really do have a piece of crap, in which case it won't get better. Hope for the first one.

Best i have done was a 14.599 E.T. 2.364 60-Foot 96.960 MPH
with Ford racing headers and flowmasters
