gas types

does it matter what grade gas i put in, and i know there is some bad types, like ive heard that ampm gas is bad, is this a myth or not, cause i put plus in the other day and shes running stronger, is that me me or does it actually help and do you guys think premium(as much as it coats) is better? and another.......should i start running synthetic oil or not..........sorry for the dumb as questions

theyre not dumb. take some time, research the older threads and posts....theyre have been quite a few lengthy threads posted surounding the octane myths and some surrounding synthetic oil. Remember, no question is stupid....its the learning process we all take.

alright thanks dude but what do you know about this stuff, cause im just starting out and am going to built things and do things right the first time.

standard regular gas for stock engines. only when you go to high compression engines do you need a higher octane to avoiding predetination. as for oil....only say ok to synthetic for high mileage engines....anything over 80k until you rebuild. then stay with standard 5w30
