It's not too late to get a new rear bumper cover and do your exhaust with turndowns THE RIGHT WAY.

They make an EFI ari gap intake?

Also why did you buy a new timing cover? Was yours cracked or something? Thats a hell of a lot of money to pay for one. I have one laying around that I would have sold you for $30

How did you pick your camshaft?

No tail pipes on a gt unless your rocking a cobra bumper.

Carb = gross. No need for a stock car.

The cobra body on the 88 not so good looking.. I would like no tail pipes but when i bought car last owner cut out holes already so i decided to keep it for now until i change the bumper. I didn't want to waste money on that since i changed the whole engine.

Great looking car. There is no way I would have took that stock of a car and threw a carb on it. I wish all the wiring in my car wasnt so jacked up so I could have kept it efi. Would love to find a stock GT in good shape like that. I would leave it that way and throw some boost on it!

What all did you do to the engine? I seen you put changed whole engine, but I only saw where you listed intake, and cam. Just wondering if I was missing a few steps.
