Went to the track. **video inside**
OFF the sause.
ran a 13.52 and got chased down on the return road by two four wheelers, track officials said any faster and im going home, and if I push my luck im done for the season. Got a 1.77 60' on that pass, but felt like CRAP, car does the funky chicken out of the hole. Can't tell if its the bigger tires (use to run 235/60/15 mickys, now have 275/50/15's) or if I need to set the shocks a bit stiffer, as in the rear end is squating to much. The track was there, good prep, and weather was about as perfect as I ever have seen it there. Was just lame to have the right conditions and told to slow down or else. for thouse that don't get it, My fox is a convertible with no roll bar. MPH wasn't where I thought it would be, I thought I would trap around 105mph, but I only trapped 102mph. DA correction has the car at a 12.3@111mph. I know how much you guys love DA corrections. going to play with my fuel pressure, because I think its too high, and if I can figure out the bog off the line im sure the car has a 13.2 ish in it pretty easy, maybe faster if I can get some more MPH But since the track officials want to be so strict, I will have to wait unil I get the roll bar installed, which should be coming very soon. drove the car the 45min drive to the track, and home. since I went to the day event, that is twice as expensive as the regular test & tune, there was almost no one there, so I could have run as much as I wanted, and there where mostly FAST cars, so the track wasn't getting tore up by slow POS cars with street tires. was a fun day ![]() slowest car out there was a 1968 camaro that was running low 15's. most cars where running 10's, because they where all built. these day events bring out all the big money trailer queens. so there wern't any "slow" cars in sight today, Just due to the high price of the event im sure. about the nitrous. the car with stock heads cam ran a 15.1 on motor, and a 13.6@101 on a 100 shot. on motor ran a 13.5@102 today with more left in it. I think that speaks wonders to how this head/cam/intake is working when I have a higher mph trap then I did on nitrous at this elevation. I think the car has mid 11's in it on 150 shot pretty easy, and I HOPE to hit 10's.... even if I have to use the 200 pills. lawl. Holy fuck you got some track nazis. I don't know nhra rules that well but my local lets you run to 11.51 no bar.. they also let you run in the 9's with a 6 point tho, lol, I know that's not right.

Sounds like you need to launch higher, wrap up 1st and 2nd a shift a little faster. The car bogged helaciously between the 1 2 shift. Didn't seem to bog comming out of the hole, but you def didn't launch hard enough.

bogging from 1-2 shift=raise where the clutch engages, get it to slip a little. My track coach made me do it and it cleared it up. Then we banged

man i went to the track today too i ran 13.8 @ 102 mph. 2.3 60ft is killing me. suspension mods and tires are next on the to do list
