I had the same problem with another car and it turned out to be a bad ground. Start at the battery and remove and clean all grounds as you trace them out. It's time consuming but you might get lucky and find it rather quickly.

It's not too bad really. Thats what I love about Fox mustangs, most things are fairly easy to fix. It has decent room in the engine compartment considering how small the car is and it having a 302. Trying to work around a 350 in a mid 90's camaro is a pain.

just had the same problem with my 91 coupe i'm building. I replaced battery, alt, and starter nothing helped then found out it was the main ground coming off the solenoid mine was bolted to the engine to get ground. The bolt was just finger tight...i put a wrench on it and the car fired right up! small things like that can get on your nerves. But building cars isn't suppose to be easy.

Be more specific on what your issues are. Saying no power made it sound like you have a rotten battery cable or something. Are you just meaning that you turn the key to the start position, that nothing happens. Be specific.

Sounds like you may have already done this, but just in case I'll throw it out there. Make sure the battery terminals and connectors are clean. I've had the problem a few times where I lose all power and that has been the cause. Good luck.

I can't believe this thread went 13 posts before someone asked this.

Still going to have to be more specific than when you turn to start nothing happens. What about when you turn the key to ignition on? Do you get ignition power or is it completely dead in that position too? You need to specify what is happening so people know what circuit isn't working and can help to narrow down the possibilities.

Then you need to go back to the solenoid on the fender and check for power on both sides of the big terminals. Use a multi-meter or a 12v testlight.

Check power going into your fuseblock also. Follow all the wires going from the line side of your solenoid. Starter wire would be your load side. There should be like 2 or 3 wires hooked under the same nut as the battery wire. Follow those wires and keep probing.
