Dual Friction Centerforce


anyone have any problems with the holding capacity of the df centerforce mine went out after 2000 miles on it and 12 passes with 4600 2-step launches..just wondering if anyone out there rus one or has and their experience with them mine got warranted so we will see if i can ruin a second one looking at specs if this one goes

93 cobra motor, supporting mods, 11.5psi out of
V3 S-Trim made 422.5rwhp and 450 rwtq
ran 12's at 5800 ft above sealevel
new setup 347 on 11psi made 616.9rwhp and
576.0rwtq

Mine spun and burned early too. I went with a zoom 6 puck ceramic one. it held fine.

I had good luck with them n/a on slicks running 12's to high 11's. When I went to low 11's on juice, the df went south on me. Ripped the lining off the non puck side. clutch pedal only came up half way after the last pass with it. All the ripped off material had wedged between the disk and the pp. I went to a spec unit and never looked back.

btw after that post I drove the mustang to get some chipotle.

beat the SHIT out of the car, and it was doing JUST fine. so I think what I thought was slipping was the tires spinning.


I tweeked a few things over the last few days, and its running much stronger

dunno my df centerforce hasn'jt skipped a beat in my turbo car yet and have had them in a few other foxes with various power levels without a problem
