Random missing

I have an issue with what I believe is some random missing. It is not happening all the time and when it does it, it's not really bad until high rpm under load (at about 5000+ it will sputter). I can get on it hard in 1st and it starts to sputter, shift to second and the miss is gone and it pulls nicely to 6200+. I've recenty replaced the plugs, wires, cap and rotor and I've replaced the cap, rotor and wires again but that did not help. I guess my next step will be to swap out the coil with my other Mustang and temporarily remove my boost retard module but after that, I am out of ideas. TFI module maybe? I think I've noticed the tach jumping around a little when it is actively missing but it may have done that before this problem started. I do not hear any detonation (and with the Vortech and the exhaust, I don't know that I would hear it anyway).
Could this be a fuel injector issue or should I stick to troubleshooting the spark?

i would look at your injectors. if its only doing it at high rpms under load, thats not conducive to loss of spark. im hesitant to say though that its not an advance problem in your timing. id check up on your advance timing at higher rpms. but what do i know, my cars having spark/fuel issues at the moment.

Remove the BTM. They are notorious with that problem.

I do have a boost retard and I will check that. I was not the one that replied to you yet

I have not messed with the ignition on this car since I bought it so don't know exactly what it has for a chip or spark. I can go beyond 6200 which the factory rev limit so i know it a least has a chip. It may be time to at least find out what I have in there computer wise.

It does miss at all RPM and even idle when it is acting up but it is barely noticable until I am under load and at high rpm. If I am driving at a constant 2K in 5th gear, about once every 1 to 10 seconds, I can here a mis but it does not affect the drivability. When under boost and passing 6000 RPM, those one or two misfires make a big difference.
