ugh....more money


So i need to rebuild or swap my diff out....im only spinning one wheel now..


But on a good note, the Car is absolutly a monster, brand new roush couldnt play,




She is so much fun! Turbos are amazing! i have a bad exhaust leak from the manifolds i need to replace bolts and lock tight them or something, but shes going into storage again today

I rebuilt my traction lock using the stickied writeup, it went really smooth and wasn't that hard at all made a huge difference

welcome to the world of making power. I love when someone tells me there car is making 800hp and there running a stock 10 bolt with stock driveshaft and u-joints.

my little 406 dyno'd 611hp and the 1st time i launched using the brake my driveshaft said bye bye.
1st time i launched with a 250 shot and the brake my powerglide bellhousing said bye bye.

The only thing I really don't take a chance with when I start making power, is the driveshaft, yokes, and u joints. This breaking can ruin everything. I bought a chromoly DS, billet super yokes, and spicer u joints for mine. It was expensive, but not as expensive as unintentionally back halving my car.

What kind of engine and trans mounts did you have? If I were building something that had a good amount of power, I'd put an engine plate on it, and that would solve that stuff.

600 hp and an engine plate is NOT neccessary. You can do it though.

motor plate would have been great. I did install a JW Ultra bell and had no more problems

My left eye is considered blind, my bad. We do motorplates at work. Makes taking an engeine out a 30 minute process lulz.
