dropping my heads off at the machine shop tomorrow then ordering the LS2/LS6 valve springs comp retainers and locks, fel pro seals. havent seen much info on this but from what i have it seems cheap and a lot better. 570 lift capable and lighter supposidly. thought it was interesting, figured id try it. any input would be helpful.
springs 67.95
retainers 49.95
locks 22.25

ill update on machine work cost, progress and anything else i run into

26915 or 26918 comp springs? The ones i got are from legenfelter and are oem takeoffs from an 02+ ls6.

Didnt know summit carried them as well. I'm doing the comp 26915's and going with a bigger cam myself....somewhere around .580 230/240 @.500 114*

Springs are never good to X amount of lift. What's crazy is if you call a manufacturer like TFS that makes cams, and heads, and sell heads with springs, they will tell you the same thing. Always, always, always, call the cam manufacturer and ask them if the springs are acceptable for the cam.
