Nice little project car - paint looks pretty decent on it. If it's a mix of the two - call it a Capristang!

There are a LOT of cars here in Mexico that we never had in the USA. They still made the bugs here up until the early 2000īs. I actually have a 96 VW beetle, like the old school bug. Chevy makes a "Tornado" which is a little truck on a small car chassis, kind of like a new school El Camino. Nissan Tusuru, which is a small nissan similar to the old squareish altima, they are very inexpensive nissan 4 door that is mainly for taxis.

Even saw a 4 door Porsche the other day, not sure if they have them in the States or not?

Where are you from in Mexico? I am guessing close to the frontera, It is super hard to find ANY fox body cars or parts here in the Cancun area but along the border you will have better luck or can easily get stuff from the US, I think if you change the lights back to the way they were original (all 4 the same size) it will look a LOT better.

Yea you can change the front ends on them. These cars are all the same platform. Not sure if you would have to change fenders or not, but front fascia and hood for sure.

Edit: oops, didn't realize there was a page 2 to this thread before I responded.

Sorry hermano no luck on parts for older cars around here, not even a good machine shop or dyno. I am using a machine shop, engine builder out of DF for machine work and tuning

if you want to upgrade the front you'll have to changr the hood and the front clip (head lights) assembly then you can add any clip from 87-93
