I would guess the cam I need will be very close to yours, as our engines are very similar. I'll just keep trying to contact ED for a little longer.

Question

I just got an email from Ed and he's got me in line for a cam. He said they are very busy. He's got 5 sets of heads to port, then he is going to stop porting until next winter, so he can focus on cams.

It won't be long now!!

any reason you went with a 66mm turbo and not a 78 or so?

next time though, dont plumb a water line into your air temp sensor, your car will run much better

My HP kit orignally came with a 60mm turbo, but I found a guy who had a used 66mm from a HP kit, so I bought it. I would like to have a 76mm or a Turbonetics 78mm, but I don't want to spend the money right now to upgrade. The guy I bought the 66mm from had a similar engine set up to mine and his ran very well, so I'm going to give it a shot!

I gave Ed all of my engine, turbo, vehicle specs, so I'm sure he will get me a cam to work in the rpm range of my turbo.

Jay Allen is done, no more.(check thread below) I'm going on 5 weeks with Ed right now, but it sounds like they are way, way busy. Normally turn around would be much less.

I saw that about Jay Allen a couple of weeks ago. He always seemed to have a bad attitude on the other websites he posted on but I wouldn't have thought he was a straight up conman.
