351 swap options
So, currently my foxbody is sitting in my shop with no motor in it. Well I have a 351 also sitting in the same shop. I figure I might as well throw it in my car here lies my problem I cannot decide which way to go with it. The car its self is a 88 and currently has no engine wiring or computer in it. I have a few different carbs I could use if I decide to go that way but I'm leaning more toward efi what computer/wiring harness would be best for this swap and roughly how much will it cost for a tune I would have to buy an intake either way. There is a salvage yard close to me that has many ford cars and trucks to pull parts from however no 5.0 mustangs. There are 91-93 Thunderbirds that do have the 5.0 HO with mass air could I modify that computer and harness to work? I have had a hard time finding information on using those particular harnesses online any input would help thanks

all depends on how much you want to spend. you can get a 4150 style manifold and you can pick up the FAST EZ-EFI kit for a pretty penny. it is a self tuning to all altitudes and conditions. if you have the money its a good way to go for minimal tuning efforts. everything from throttle body to wires is included even the injectors. the kit supports up to 550-600hp if i recall correctly.

Keep in mind, the fast ezefi is for non boost applications, otherwise ebay, craigslist, corral.net classifieds, etc.

Wasn't saying he wanted boost, just wanted to let him know. That was good advice on your part! Reps to you.
