i know i'm in the wrong fourm but i think you guys could help the most. i have a 88 thunder bird here is the run down on it.

Has 8.8 rear end with 3.73 gears.

B&M Hammer gate shifter with reverse lock out in console, electric overdrive lit rocker switch next to shifter monted in console.

Custom built AOD transmision made to hold 8 to 1000 HP, reverse pattern manual shift valve body, heavier bands, racing clutch disc's in 1st, 2nd, 3rd, electric OD button <this is for sale >

3500 stall converter.

B&M electric trans fluid cooler.

Elec radiator fan.

Griffin alum 4 vane large radiator.

Underdrive pulley set.

Surpintine 6 grove belt.

Ford factory X cam and cam bearings.

New main berings and rod bearings.

New lifters.

New pushrods.

New rings.

Ford GT 40 heads, aluminum, heavier springs, ported and polished.

Cobra fuel injected intake, round staggered runner upper, port matched to lower manifold, # 19 injectors.

75 mm throtle body and adapter plate.

Cold air intake tube and filter.

Ford racing shorties.

Duel exhaust with flowmasters.

Ajustable fuel presure regulator.

he car dynod 247 HP at the rear wheels, no power adders, on a Dynojet 224X at Coupe Performanc

Weld draglite wheels all around. 3.5 x 15 in front and 7 1/2 x 15 rear with 7.25 backspace


My ?s are what is a good 5 speed to use in this car.
what is a good suspension to use on the car
My goals for this car is a bad to the bone street car.

World class t5 is all you need for a trans, and check with maximum motorsports or other various companies for a good street setup.
