Question

351w stroker kit??

I currently have a 351w bored .30 over, carb, im thinking about a 393 stroker kit, who makes the best kit for the price, i want to keep this car on the street and drive it every weekend, and keep it reliable but also take it to the strip and run some passes once in a while, also still looking to run 93 octane, i ve heard alot of guys saying that a 393 is the way to go?? i will be spraying nitrous on this motor at the track, just trying to get everything together and figure out where i am going to be money wise, any of you guys running a 393 stroker out of a 351w? if so how do you like it and whats your hp numbers? thanks again

408. Same price, more cubes. From what I understand the parts are lighter with a 408. Not 100% on that, but I did hear it from a reputable source.

how much you spend depends on how far you wanna go with it. If you dont plan on any power adders then a cheap cast kit would be ok IMO. If you plan on boosting or using NOS then you really should spend more and get a forged kit. Dont know about anyone else but I also only use plasma molly rings and kings professional grade bearings.
