If it is in good shape, that is a good price. The Foxes have started to come up in value.

Its a 89 model, the interior is in GREAT shape.. It does however need a shift fork put in as it has alot of slop in the shifter.

Yes. Out of the factory the speed density cars are a little faster but the maf makes it easier to do a larger cam change without all the vacume problems, as well as other big mods like heads intake. I bought a performance mustang book from amazon that is very detailed and will help you if you plan on modding your car....or just keep reading all the post in this fourm.

carfax.com but you have to pay for it.

If your talking about thru CarFax, I don't think anyone can do that for free. If you are worried about the car, I would have someone look at it that knows what he's looking for. Lets say a guy, hypothetically, gets drunk at the bar, on the way home hits another car or a telephone pole, I can't remember which one it was. Anyways, he's drunk, so he gets scared and hurries home and sticks his car in the garage. Next day he takes out a screwdriver and a pair of channel locks and fixes all the dents. Frame is damaged but you can't tell because he does an outstanding job with the screwdriver. That crap will never show on CarFax. Title transfers and anything that happened to get reported will, though. Spend that few dollars for the carfax and get someone to look at it.
