Check these out.
My little brother is working on a 93 vert, switching from a 4 to a 5.0. He doesn't have much money, so I already hooked him up with some equal length shorties, an off road h, and a flowmaster catback. I found these heads on corral.net, there cheap, but for a gift what do you guys think.
For Sale 225cfm fully customized E7's w/ 1.7 rockers + pushrods. - Ford Mustang Forums : Corral.net Mustang Forum

Those flow pretty good for a set of E7's, but I still wouldn't pay 500 plus shipping. Shipping will be expensive on a set of iron heads. For a gift that's cool and all, but maybe have him throw in a couple bucks and look for a set of used aluminum heads that flow more out of the box. Just my .02

shipping iron heads can run upwards of over a 100 bucks.....when i sold my old world product sr heads and roller rockers it cost around 118 dollars, that doesnt mean that i couldnt have found a cheaper shipping method...the price was through usps, so i figure with out the roller rockers it will cost 105 bucks.....aluminum is about half the weight so it should be half the cost
so youll really be paying 600 dollars for those heads, give or take 25 bucks
