Hi guys,

Anyone know how i can remove the crank shaft bolt without the use of an impact driver??

Is the engine in or out of the car? If it's in the car is it a stick?

If it's in the car

Auto, you'll have to take off the inspection plat and use a screw driver to block the flex plate

Manual, Just put it in 5th

And if the front is up on stands/ramps/jack, have someone hold pressure on the brake pedal because it will move forward.

youll have to take the inspection plate off the front of the trans and I used a screw driver wedged in between the subframe and one of the holes in the flex plate

just be careful not to damage amything

15/16s socket
if you have a friend thats not a weak pansy he can hold the crank pulley from underneath and you can break it loose with a breaker bar

dont have friends breaker bar+pipe on the end touching the floor+bump starter

strap wrench on the pulley and 15/16 on the bolt

sadly im on my own wouldn't trust my friends to open a tin of beans let alone hold the H-Balancer hahahaha

will have a look at the wedging a spanner option that sounds more my style *brute force* grrrrrr
