Eliminating EGR and IAC
Is there any negative affects of eliminating either or both of these two things? I see that they sell block off plates for them and wanted to clean up my engine bay. I only need to pass safety inspection so emissions is not a problem in MA.

Deleting the IAC can cause idle issues and deleting the EGR will cause your mileage to drop. If you tune for it, you can get away with the EGR and keep the mileage, but I've never seen results from someone deleting an IAC.

Oh I see, probably won't do it any time soon then. I got a Jegs mag today and I seen IAC blockoff plate but I've never seen anyone run their car without it. Gas mileage is crappy enough with the price of gas, I'll keep the EGR, for now, because I don't have money for a tune. LOL. Thanks.
