transmission vac line help please

i dd a 92 5.0 lx aod and im having a really hard time getting it to shift into 2 and when i do get it it has a similar problem. i also have noticed a hissing coming from under the hood and all i can think of is a vac leak causing the hissing as well as the shifting issues. ive never dealt with any vac lines since ive even started driving so im pretty ignorant about the matter. vac diagrams arent much help cause it only includes the lines and i have nothing to reference...im

i know but basically:

- where do i look to find the vac lines that deal with the transmission? (pix would be awesome...diagrams may help too)
-how hard is it to replace this/these vac lines and can i do it myself in my driveway?

or is it a tv cable issue? if so is that something i should take it to a mechanic to handle?
