Cool

Only downside is straight cut gears are LOUD so that is the reason we don't see them in street cars but if you can take the sound and/or only use the car at the track they are a great upgrade.

If I were dong it I'd be faceplating it. Gonna need to buy stronger inputshaft and fears most likely though. Hell my auto with good
Hard parts in it, and I can't keep it at even around 650 foot pounds.

+1 on the gforce. i just bought one from a guy on the corral. its straight cut dog ring setup. it has all the stronger gears and shafts. along with the gforce case. the only thing mine does not have is micropolished gears. yes they are LOUD. imagine reverse gear all the time at high rpm from stomping on the right pedal.

Hmmm. Im tempted. But how well does a stock t5 case hold up? Id hate to build the guts and break the case.... Shes holding 647ft lbs of torque now but for how long?

And can u downshift while cruising? Or do u have to come to a complete stop first? Does it still have sycros?

no the dog rings are in place of the synchros. you can drive it on the road. when you down shift you have get the correct rpm like a synchro would assist you in. the case should be fine. the strength really comes from the shafts, gears, and bearings.

They sell a synchronized kit as well but obviously it's not as strong.
